Carrie Wright

Dr. Carrie Wright joined the team at Brookfield in 2017 after relocating to the PNW from Reno, NV. She has always been passionate about animal care since volunteering at her first hospital at the young age of 12! She worked her way up from volunteer work, kennel duty, and nursing assistant, to working at the teaching hospital at Colorado State. She completed a dual major at Colorado State and then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from there as well in 1999.

Dr. Wright enjoys everything about general practice but has a special interest and passion for surgery and dentistry. Preventative medicine, geriatric comfort, and good honest communication are a mainstay of her practice as well.  In her spare time, you can find Dr. Wright spending time with her family of 4 and her menagerie of animals. She has 2 busy and athletic boys, 2 rescue dogs - Josie (Doberman) and Mako (Cattle Dog) plus 3 cats - Piper (Torti),  Atlas (Brown Tabby), and Queso (Orange Tabby).  When she isn't cleaning up or chasing after her small zoo, she enjoys time outdoors hiking, climbing, and exploring.   She also enjoys yoga, running, biking, and playing soccer.  When exhausted by all of those things, she brings it indoors for cooking,  crafting, and reading!
