Elizabeth Loptien

Dr. Elizabeth Loptien has always been passionate about animal husbandry and care since being an active member in the 4-H community in her hometown of Reno, NV. She worked as a receptionist in a veterinary hospital outside of high school and was a surgical assistant before going to veterinary school. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno before traveling "across the pond" to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College at the University of London. She is an active member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

After graduation, she moved back home to the desert of Nevada to practice but found she missed the green and rain from her time in London. She relocated to the PNW in 2021. Dr Loptien has interest in general practice, especially neurology, ophthalmology, internal medicine and geriatric medicine.

In her spare time, you can find Dr. Loptien reading a good book with her three black cats (all brothers) - Goblin, Ganon and Jimmy. She is excited to explore the outdoors and all that the PNW has to offer. She enjoys swimming, Pilates, and finding the best breakfast joint in the Seattle area.
