Emily joined the BVH team in August 2020 and in 2023 became our lead nurse. Emily started working in the veterinary field because she has a passion for helping animals and wants to help them live their best lives. She loves Brookfield because of the high standard of care provided to patients and their families. She is a Fear Free Certified professional and is currently in school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. At home, Emily has three rescue dogs of her own--Keeba and Nova the Pitbull mixes, Brownie the Shih Tzu, as well as a little rescued Corn Snake, Petra. When not at the hospital, Emily enjoys fishing, hiking, canoeing, reading, and yoga.
