Julie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from Pierce College in 1996 with an AA degree in Veterinary Technology. Throughout her career, Julie has blended her deep love of anatomy, physiology, and surgery, building a broad and diverse clinical background that includes small animal surgery, equine surgery, emergency medicine, and critical care in the Intensive Care Unit.

Julie’s love for animals began early in life, growing up in a home with two Labrador Retrievers who sparked her lifelong connection to animals. She followed her passion for horses through Pony Club, Fox Hunting, Three-Day Eventing, and as a jockey on the racetrack. Julie still manages to keep her hands on horses providing Equine Sports massage to our equine athletes.

Julie is thrilled to be part of the Brookfield team, where she is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compassion in veterinary medicine for every animal in her care.

When not at Brookfield, you’ll likely find Julie outdoors — climbing mountains, cycling, swimming, or in search of the perfect picnic spot with her twins. She feels deeply grateful to have such an incredible playground in the Pacific Northwest.
