Sarah has been in the veterinary field for nearly 18 years, starting as a kennel attendant and working her way up. She graduated veterinary technician school in 2009 and has been in veterinary management for 11 years. She has managed a surgical department at a specialty hospital as well as multi-site management with Banfield in Seattle and multi-site at a non-profit organization in Kansas City. She really enjoys teaching all aspects of veterinary medicine, promoting a fun work environment, surgery and anesthesia. She is originally from Kansas City. She moved to Seattle 3 years ago with her husband, crossing the country with 4 dogs in the back of their car! They have 2 Pugs (Zoe and Mia), a Belgian/German Shepherd mix named Ranger and a cattle dog/blue healer mix named Layla. She also loves Guinea Pigs! In her spare time, she enjoys camping by the river, cross-stitch, diamond painting and axe throwing.
